Motiv Primal Rage Evolution

The Motiv Primal Rage Evolution isn’t just an upgrade—it’s the next era in bowling performance. This ball brings a legendary status back to life for those who want to dominate on the lanes. The original Primal Rage, known as the iconic #redball, set a new standard, earning a reputation as the most angular ball ever made, with a history of titles, including MOTIV’s first PBA Tour Title. Over a decade later, the Primal Rage Evolution is here to reclaim its throne. At the core of the Primal Rage Evolution is the Impulse V2 core, a dual-density, high-RG powerhouse known for incredible energy retention and explosive down-lane power. With a differential of .050, this core provides over five inches of flare potential and endless drilling options to customize your setup. The new Propulsion FYJ coverstock takes the Primal Rage Evolution even further. Developed over 15 years, this pearl cover is the strongest, most angular shell MOTIV has ever created. Together with the Impulse V2 core, this advanced coverstock delivers unmatched power and angularity. The Primal Rage Evolution isn’t just another ball—it’s a statement in performance bowling.

Believe the Hype

The RED ball is easily the cleanest ball I have thrown in a decade. Usually when a ball is super clean it can tend to be over under on most conditions which this ball is not. I can count on the Evolution to see the friction and respond extremely quick to it. With it being super clean the RED ball has the most backend and defined shape out of any Motiv ball that I have thrown. To All the bowlers asking for a skid flip ball the Primal Rage Evolution is the ball for you.

Question:

How would this ball compare to the Phaze AI?

Have an answer to this question?

Answer:

The Motiv Primal Rage Evolution will have some similarities with the Phaze AI. Both are upper mid performance bowling balls designed to work well in medium oil conditions. Both have a pearl coverstocks and polished finish to give the more length but the weight block on the Motiv gives it more length for a slightly more angular backend. However, since the Storm reads a little earlier than the Motiv, the Storm may flare slightly more overall.
