Hammer Pure Envy
The Hammer Pure Envy bowling ball was designed by combining the best features of previous successful models to create something truly exceptional. Hammer’s extensive development process, backed by a rich catalog of proven cores and coverstocks, led to the creation of Pure Envy, a ball that stands out on oily lanes. Built to complement the performance of the Extreme Envy, Pure Envy offers strong backend motion with a dull finish reminiscent of the Effect. After testing several core designs, the original Launcher core was selected for its high differential and asymmetry, which provide impressive overall motion. For the coverstock, Hammer combined its new Cohesion additive with the HK22 cover technology—originally seen in the Effect—giving Pure Envy unparalleled backend traction. This combination delivers powerful performance on oil-heavy conditions. Pure Envy is a must-have for Hammer fans looking for a ball that delivers strong motion and reliable control on the lanes.

The envy line strikes again!
The pure envy is always the first ball out of my bag now. As someone who doesn't have a lot of revs I tend to throw bigger balls. My go to before this came out was the original Envy. I was extremely happy with how well this ball reacted to heavy oil.
The new additive cohesion with the HK22 allows this ball have a similar motion to the hammer effect which is a huge favorite. I think this is the best big ball the line has created and no matter how you throw it, it should be added to the bag.
Also the colors are amazing which is another bonus!!

Long patterns or Heavy Oil

Heavy Oil Monster
The Pure Envy is extremely strong and will become a staple for longer or heavy oil patterns. The ball takes surface changes very well making it an option on a pretty wide variety of patterns although it does perform well at box or with even a little added surface. If you bowl a lot of tournaments or in a house with heavy oil it’s a great ball to have in the bag.

Hammer Pure Envy
I really like this new addition to the Envy line. I have not seen this reaction on the back in a dull finish ball. It's been my go to for the fresh on league night, and I recently was able to try it on a couple of patterns in Klamath Falls which featured dual patterns for the regional. I was able to use it on the fresh for both patterns and was impressed with the control on the longer Rick Steelsmith pattern as well as the response on the Del Ballard shorter pattern. I will echo exactly what I read and heard and now have seen that The Pure Envy has the strength, with more length of the Extreme Envy and the backend response of The Effect. Don't sleep on this one folks! You'll be sorry if you miss out.

Hammer Pure Envy
The Hammer Pure Envy released a couple of weeks ago. It features the same Launcher asymmetric core found in the original Envy wrapped by a black/pink/purple HK-22 cohesion coverstock. Box finish is 2000 Siaair and the videos were shot on fresh THS. I've also used the Pure Envy with good success on higher volume, 45 foot 4:1 challenge pattern. For comparison, I threw an original Envy at box finish with a comparable layout.
Compared to the original Envy, I definitely see a little more length and a stronger backend. In practicing with both pieces on the same pair, I got the Pure Envy a little wider and it came back with a little quicker motion off the spot. The original Envy is a bit earlier and smoother from what I saw. That being said, the Pure Envy, like other releases in the Envy line, are designed for higher volumes of oil. I see this new Pure Envy as a good choice for any higher volume patterns and depending on the bowler's speed, could be in play on a variety of pattern distances.
The Pure Envy is readily available, see your pro shop for more information.

Pure Envy
I've been an Envy fan from the very first release and this one is a great addition to the line! I found the Pure Envy gets through the fronts clean and still has enough to get back and go through the pins the right way! I always loved the Extreme Envy but as your moved in it seemed to labor down lane. The Pure Envy doesn't have that problem! It's very strong and continuous. I love having a ball like this in my bag for some heavier oil patterns. Hammer fans are going to love this ball!

Wow!
Wow this ball packs a punch. You can drill it to roll early, and it still goes through the pins with ease! You drill it to go down lane, and it is an absolute beast! Best of both the effect and envy. That speaks for itself. This ball is a must no matter what you bowl on!

Pure Envious!
The Pure Envy is a very clean ball that has a great reaction and continuous movement through the pins. I put 3000 on mine and was able to go from the straighter angle to the inside line within 3 games. I was able to keep this ball in my hand. I may restore to 2000 and let it lane shine next . This ball is my first ball out the bag and its a great compliment if you want something quicker off the spot comparably to the extreme envy. See your local proshop for this treat.

Hammer Pure Envy
I am a big fan of the Envy line of bowling balls. The Envy Tour is my go-to ball when the lanes are tough. The Envy Tour Pearl is a favorite of mine when the lanes have opened up and you need high scores. The Extreme Envy is my favorite heavy oil, or long oil ball. I'll throw in the Hammer Effect also because that is my favorite ball when I need to get super deep on the lane and play 5th or 6th arrow. Now hammer is adding the Pure Envy which has attributes of all of these pieces. It has a dull hybrid cover, but that cover has the HK22 & a cohesion additive that was introduced in the Effect. It has the original Launcher core which is slightly different than the Launcher LRG in the Extreme. This ball is a big oil ball that is a little cleaner and more continuous. I have about 5 or 6 games on mine and so far, I am letting it lane shine. The shape has just gotten better and better so far. This one has a good chance to be special.

Pros:
Superb reaction in heavy oil.
Cons:
Tend to crack within 3 - 6 months.
Best Uses:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Do not purchase this ball.
I have purchased two Extreme Envy's. The first I used for about one year, and it cracked in two pieces. I assumed that was an anomaly since this is the first ball that's cracked on me in over 25 years of bowling. I purchased a second Envy - this one lasted only about 3 months....and it cracked as well. Until Hammer can solve this manufacturing problem, I'd stay away from it.

Question:
What is the difference between the Pure Envy and the Envy Tour
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
The Pure Envy will have a new weight block which is stronger than the weight block on the Envy Tour Pearl and Envy Tour Solid. This ball will read earlier than the Envy Tour Pearl but later than the Envy Tour Solid but overall it has a stronger hook potential than the previous two Envy Tours.
