Great ball!
I bought this ball for league use on drier lanes. I was able to use it in the first game, and 239 right out of the box! Just the missing piece I needed.

This Ball Is Definitely A Winner
The Vibe Line Has Really Been Popular Throughout The Years. This New Ocean Vibe Has Similar Characteristics To The Older Vibes But This New One Has A Little More Backend Drive Through The Pins. This Ball Is Great For Medium To Low Volume Oil Patterns. This Ball Keeps You Out Of Troubles And Keeps You In Play When The Lanes Are Dry And Hooking Alot. The New Ocean Vibe Has Great Shelf Appeal And Really Looking Good Down Lane And Easy To See The Rotation The Ball Makes. Great For House Shots And Tournament Bowlers. I Know When The Lanes Are Hooking I Can Definitely Move Right With This Ball And Keep The Pocket In Play. Make Sure To Go Visit Your Local Pro Shop Operator Today And Order One!

Amazing Price Point and a Totally Underestimated Ball….The New Hammer Ocean Vibe
The Ocean Vibe has to be one of the most underestimated balls from Hammer. This ball is predictable, clean and provides any bowler consistency on various lane conditions. The Ocean Vibe works very well on medium to dry lane conditions. The pearl coverstock allows any bowler to get the ball down lane, even when the heads are pretty dry or totally gone. This ball is very good and allows bowlers at all levels to see the ball shape and make adjustments. As this is my first Vibe I have ever thrown, I am totally impressed on how clean and predictable this ball really is. I strongly recommend this ball to bowlers at all levels. You will not be disappointed on this ball’s performance.

Amazing
Ocean Vibe - the classic Vibe line is back. Great ball for those medium to dry lane conditions. Strongest backending Vibe released to date. Best used when the lanes are breaking down later in league or towards the end of tournament blocks. Very clean through the front part of the lane strong reacting motion down lane.

Blue Ocean Awesomeness!
I LOVE THIS BALL!! Finally, I found a ball that matches up perfect with my game in our drier house. Drilled it standard pin up and right of ring finger. Just your average league guy here. Stroker, speed dominant, second arrow, about 10 out to 5. Only took a few shots to get very comfortable with this ball. I felt like I had a ton of room to work with. If I pulled it a bit, it seemed to hold the line, and if I went too far out to the dry, there was plenty of read to get back to the pocket. Felt like I couldn’t miss the pocket if I threw a descent shot. Follow thru and let the ball do the work. Lots of energy at the end and great pin action. Strikes just seemed to be crushing 10 back. Just a great combo of core, cover and ball numbers. Just the right amount of Long and Strong as advertised. Really makes me look like I know what I’m doing…lol. Bowled a 278 high game first night I used it. I was thrilled! First VIBE I’ve ever owned, but this release really impressed me. Would recommend to anyone who bowls medium to lighter oil conditions, or needing something all purpose, middle of the road consistent performance. This ball is a GREAT value at around 100 bucks. Gorgeous blue color too.

Hammer Ocean Vibe
Here is my take on the new Ocean Vibe by Hammer. IT’S BACK! The Vibe line in EBI days was the premier line of symmetric core equipment from Hammer. Any Vibe was the “go to” ball in the Hammer line when a symmetric core option was needed. The new Ocean Vibe will NOT disappoint. The new Ocean Vibe features the same “hour glass” symmetric core wrapped by a CT Reactive Pearl cover in a cool looking turquoise color. Box finish is 2000 Siaair polished. I drilled mine with my favorite pin down layout for a Vibe- 60 x 5 x 70. I have thrown it on several THS and 2022 PBA Chameleon. I did alter the surface to 4000 Siaair.
The new Ocean Vibe holds true to form in terms of Vibe ball motion. The new Ocean Vibe reminds me of a remake Cherry Vibe on steroids. The Vibe gets down the lane with ease and shows great continuation off of the spot. I used the Vibe during 3rd game of league on the Chameleon pattern once the fronts dried up and could not get the ball I was using to go through the pins properly. The Vibe, as noted above, cleared the fronts and was the right move. As such, I see the Vibe as being in play on shorter to medium distance patterns. I also believe the Vibe will be at its best on medium to light volume patterns/broken down patterns. As with previous Vibes, this new Vibe will suit many styles of bowlers and different shapes can be achieved depending on layout.

Question:
What's the difference between entry level and mid performance
Have an answer to this question?
Answer:
Entry performance tends to have a lower overall hook potential and usually ranges in lighter oil conditions while mid performance will have slightly more overall hook and can work more in medium oil conditions typically. There are exceptions to each category and this Ocean Vibe could very easily fall in mid performance or entry performance but we list as entry because it is slightly lower hook potential than the Raw series which is already considered mid performance.
