This is a good shoe

This is my first bowling shoe. I don't think that I will be needing an upgrade for a long time.

Good cheap shoes

Maybe it is psychological or maybe its the shoes themselves, but since I replaced my older shoes, I have been bowling much better!

great shoes, very soft

These are the softest uppers I have ever seen. However, if you are looking for a shoe that will last for years to come, this may not be the shoe because I'm thinking that the uppers will last for a few years before they start to tare because they are so soft. But, these were reasonably priced for the casual bowler.

Runs half a size large

My son wears a size 9.5 when renting shoes at the bowling alley. So, we purchased the 9.5. However, this shoe was too big. Returned it (had to pay the shipping fee for the return PLUS a $5. restocking fee)...the size 9 fits great and he loves the shoe. Just pay the $5.99 on the true fit guarantee...it's not worth the shipping and restocking fees for finding the right fit.

Good starter shoe... With additions

I was pretty happy when I bought these. They fit well. I didn't have to worry about wide or narrow... Size 13 fit great. The soles are rubber and the slide pad is a soft fiber. Problem is, they don't slide for me. They collect a decent amount of dust and debris too.

In fact, I actually pulled my groin today in practice. I would recommend these shoes, but you'll need to get a slide show cover to add. It makes a big difference. I'll ice up and be ready for league night!

Decent

Overall good product for a universal shoe. The heels are a little too soft/slippery for my liking but they are still good quality just not high quality.

Pros:

price

Cons:

stiff

Best Uses:

I got what I paid for

I was looking for an inexpensive shoe since I'm a casual bowler. Ordered these and rolled exactly one game then put them right back in the box never to be used again. They're just stiff as a board. I had to buy a half size larger because they were out of my size and that's on me so I'm not faulting it for being a little loose on my feet. But man these shoes are stiff. When you approach your lane the part over your toes just creases and presses into your feet. It just feels like it's going to "perma-crease" right there over the toes and crack a whole lot sooner than I'd be done getting any long term use out of them. I'd bought my sons both shoes in this same price range but they were more like sneakers and they've enjoyed theirs and I've tried on theirs and they were very comfortable. I don't know why I didn't just order a pair of those instead of these that are about on par with rental shoes. Can't send them back so I'll just do what I should have done and order the same ones my boys have.

Bowling shoes

I had a lot of trouble in the first few weeks of bowling. The left foot just kept sticking until I bought some silicone slide stuff at the bowling alley. It has helped a ot, but my brain does not have the confidence since I almost wnt on my can twice. It has gotten better though. If I were to do it over, I think I would have went for an upgraded shoe pair.
